Building & Monetising a Community

Recruiters have better access to their industry than almost anyone else. You speak to leaders about their ambitions, to candidates about their careers, and you understand your market from every angle. Nobody else has that. This talk is about how to use that position to build a community around it and, most importantly, how to commercialise it.

FLIP FOR BIO
THURSDAY

Jack and Zac are the co-directors of We Have A Meeting (WHAM), one of the UK's fastest growing sales agencies, and authors of Sales Is Therapy. Between them they've made hundreds of thousands of cold calls for paying clients, building a phone-first methodology grounded in psychology rather than scripts. Their work focuses on helping businesses stand out from the typical sales call by using pattern interrupts, therapy-style questioning, and a genuinely human approach to outreach.

Cold Calling with Impact

Most cold calls fail in the first seven seconds because they sound like every other cold call. Jack and Zac break down the exact methodology behind hundreds of thousands of calls — pattern interrupts, test closes, and the therapy-style questions that turn prospects into conversations. Human, practical, and brutally effective. Your consultants will pick up the phone differently after this one.

WHO IS THIS FOR.

Recruiters

Sharpen your bd & Bill more

You're good at the job. But you know you're leaving money on the table. This is two days of practical, no-nonsense training that will sharpen your BD, improve your conversations and help you bill more - starting the week after you leave the event.

Billing Managers

perform at a higher level

You're still billing whilst trying to lead a team. This event will give you frameworks to perform at a higher level personally, while making you a more credible, commercially effective leader for the people around you.

Business Leaders

build the billers

You've built the business. Now build the billers. Two days of commercial, high-performance training that will sharpen how you think about revenue, client strategy and what separates your top performers from everyone else.

L&D Managers

practical frameworks

This is what good recruitment training actually looks like. Two days with the industry's best practitioners — giving you a clear benchmark, fresh content and practical frameworks you can take back and build into your own programmes.

why send your team?

One session could pay for every ticket in the room.

Louise Archer will show your recruiters exactly how to convert existing contingent clients into retained partnerships. One conversation with one client, done right, could generate £10k-£30k in retained fees. Tickets start at £395.

They'll come back with things they'll actually use.

This isn't a motivation day. Every session is built around practical frameworks your recruiters can implement immediately. BD, outreach, client strategy, personal brand - covered by people who have done it, not just taught it.

Your competitors are already investing in their people.

The recruiters in that room on 1st-2nd October will leave sharper, more motivated and more commercially effective. The question is whether yours are among them.

The numbers make sense.

3 tickets: 10% off. 5 tickets: 20% off. At five tickets on priority list pricing, you're paying £1,580 for two days of best-in-class recruitment training. One extra placement covers it twice over.

FREQUENTLY ASKED.

Is this just a glorified networking event?

No. The networking is a byproduct, not the point. Every session is built around practical, commercial content that you can implement the week after. If you want to network, great — the calibre of people in the room will make that worthwhile. But you're not paying £395 to stand around with a name badge.

Not every session looks relevant to me.

Fair. But here's the thing — the recruiters who get the most out of events like this are rarely the ones who only attend the sessions that feel obvious. The £44k lapsed client session might not feel relevant until you realise you've got 40 lapsed clients sitting in your CRM. The retained search session might feel irrelevant until you're in the room and realise every client you have could be a retained client. Come with an open mind. You'll leave with more than you expected.

Two days off the desk is too much.

Two days off the desk once a year to become a sharper, more commercially effective recruiter is not a cost — it's an investment. The recruiters who never leave their desk are usually the ones who never improve. If your pipeline can't survive two days, that's probably one of the things we'll cover at the event.

How is this different from just buying a training programme?

A training programme gives you content. This gives you content, context, conversation and energy — all in one room, over two days, with people who are going through exactly what you're going through. You'll hear things in the corridor that are worth as much as the sessions. You'll have conversations that change how you think. You can't replicate that on a Zoom call or a self-paced course.

What if I'm a junior recruiter — is this too advanced for me?

No. Some of the best feedback I've ever had from training has come from recruiters in their first or second year — because everything is still fresh and they're hungry to implement. You don't need ten years of experience to benefit from this. You just need to show up ready to learn and actually do something with it when you get back to your desk.

What if I'm a very experienced recruiter — will I learn anything new?

If you're billing consistently, winning retained work, never losing a client and your BD pipeline is full — maybe not. But in twenty years of working in and around this industry, I've never met that recruiter. The most experienced people in the room are usually the ones who get the most out of it, because they have enough context to immediately apply what they hear. This isn't a beginner's course. It's built for people who are serious about performing at a higher level.

What's included in a standard ticket?

Full two-day access to all sessions, a workbook, and refreshments throughout both days. You'll be in the room for every keynote, training session and panel discussion.

What's included in a VIP ticket?

Everything in standard, plus priority front row seating, access to the Day 1 post event drinks reception at The Courthouse Hotel, and the exclusive VIP Lunch & Learn on Day 2.

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets go live on 1st July 2026. Join the Priority List now for first refusal, priority list pricing and the chance to win a training package worth over £2,000.

What is priority list pricing and when does it end?

Priority list tickets are available at a reduced rate for 1 week after launch. Join the Priority List to be notified the moment they go on sale.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes. 3 tickets get 10% off. 5 tickets get 20% off. If you're bringing a larger group, get in touch directly and we'll sort something out.

Can I get a refund if I can't attend?

Tickets are non-refundable but are fully transferable. If you can't make it, you can pass your ticket to a colleague or someone else in your business.

Where is the event?

The Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch, 335-337 Old Street, London EC1V 9LL. Nearest tube is Old Street on the Northern Line a few minutes walk.

What time does the event start and finish?

Registration opens at 9am both days. Sessions begin at 10am and finish at 5pm. VIP drinks reception follows on the evening of Day 1.

Is there a dress code?

Smart casual. Be comfortable but leave the tracksuit at home.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. The Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch is fully accessible. If you have specific requirements, contact us before the event and we'll make sure everything is in place.

Are there nearby hotels?

The Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch has rooms available if you'd like to stay on-site. There are also numerous hotels within walking distance. We'd recommend booking early given the October date.

Will sessions be recorded?

No. The Recruiter Revenue Summit is a live, in-person event and sessions will not be recorded or made available afterwards. This is intentional - the value is in the room.
